Music – General Information

All Elementary students attend General Music class at least one time per week. The youngest general music students learn to keep a steady beat, find their singing voice, and to develop a vocabulary to discuss music. As students move through the program, they have opportunities to learn about music from around the world, play classroom instruments, study composers, read notes and rhythms, and much more.
